• 1970- BCP was affiliated to the Mumbai University for the B. Pharm. course. • 1973- BCP was affiliated to the Mumbai University for the M. Pharm. and the PhD(Tech). course. • 1973- The college received its first research grant from CSIR. • 1976- Approved under section 2f of UGC Act. • 1981- The Research Society of the Bombay College of Pharmacy was formed which was registered with Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR). • 1995- Permanent affiliation to University of Mumbai. • 1998- Approved under section 12b of UGC Act. • 2004- Received FIST grant from DST for improving infrastructure. • 2005- Renovation of the Students Reading Room and setting up of the Computer Centre. • 2008- Accreditation for five years by NBA. • 2011- BCP and University of Mumbai fetched Gold medal(s) and trophy in AVISHKAR at Sholapur in Pharmacy category. • 2011- Approval for Postgraduate course in Pharmaceutical analysis with intake for 18. Course started in 2012-13. • 2013- Ranked country’s 4th best pharmacy college by a survey (http://www.careers360.com/news/6303-India-s-Best-Pharmacy-Colleges). • 2013– Received Best Industry Linked Institute in Pharmacy category from AICTE-CII. • 2013- 14-Received FIST grant from DST for improving infrastructure. • 2014- Received Best Industry Linked Institute in Pharmacy category from AICTE-CII second time in a row. • 2015- Received Best Industry Linked Institute in Pharmacy category from AICTE-CII third time in a row. • 2015- BCP and University of Mumbai were First runner up in National Research Competition - AVISHKAR in Pharmacy category. • 2016– Ranked 6th among Pharmacy Institutions in India by National Institutional Ranking Framework, Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India. • 2017- Accreditation for five years by National Board of Accreditation (NBA). • 2017- Ranked 15th among Pharmacy Institutions in India by National Institutional Ranking Framework, Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India. • 2017– Received the Grant of Rs. 5.87 Crores for establishment of a National facility for Research and Training in Integrated Analytical strategies for Discovery, Development and Testing of Drugs, Pharmaceuticals and Nutraceuticals under the Drugs and Pharmaceutical Research Program of the Department of Science and Technology (DST DPRP).
