Student Council Activities

Activities related to students and Student Council:

1. The Students council for A.Y 2014-15 was formed on30th July 2014. The Cultural secretary, Sports secretory, Treasury Committee, Data base manager and Ladies Representative are all students of 2nd year while a student of Third year B. Pharm is the General Secretary. Class representatives have been elected for each class.

2. The Student Council organised its first event Friendship day on 1st August 2014.

3. The 68th Independence day was celebrated on 15th August. The Principal Dr. MN Saraf hoisted the flag and addressed the students on this occasion. Students sung the national anthem, FY student entertained the gathering with patriotic songs and Ms Shailaja Shashikumar (SY) presented their thoughts. Besides the Student Incharge Dr. Mangal Nagarsenkar, other faculty members Dr. SR Kulkarni, Dr. MS Shaikh and Mr. AT Dalvvi were also present on the occasion.

4. On 5th September 2014, theStudents Council celebrated Teachers Day by honouring their teachers.

5. The Magazine Committee for CREDENCE-2015 was formulated on 18th October 2014 through interviews of interested students by Dr. Mushtaque S Shaikh.
