The main objective of this cell is to as a liaison between industries and Bombay College of Pharmacy

The following are the major activities of the lIP cell:-

1. Maintenance, coordination & promotion of consultancy services with proper links, with the departments in the college.
2. Maintain and distribute funds obtained from consultancy Services for strengthening of the various departments in the college.
3. Encourage Industry to collaborate in industry study tour programme (ISTP) internship programme & placement of students.
4. Assist industries in obtaining tax incentives from GOI by supporting R&D programmes in the college, promote sponsored and joint R&D projects.
5. Organise industrial training and industrial visits for students.
6. Organise industrial exhibitions to highlight research facilities and expertise available with the college.
7. Training of industrial personnel in Bombay College of Pharmacy exchange of personnel between the Industries and BCP by way of involving industry personnel in delivering lectures on the latest technological development; evaluation of projects, development of curricula as per industry etc.
8. Signing of MOU between BCP & the institution.
9. Generate funds from industry/other agencies for maintenance & development of the cell.
